Floors, tables, toys; everything in our facility is sanitized on a daily basis. Our staff always practices safe hygiene, and they teach all children in their care to do the same.
We know how much parents miss their little ones when they’re apart. Thanks to our Brightwheel Mobile App, you can keep tabs on your kiddo throughout the day. You’ll receive updates on achievements and milestones, and receive updates about what he or she is learning. We’ll even send you pictures and videos so you can see how much fun your little one is having!
At our daycare facility, children are provided with ample opportunities to explore the world around them. Whether in the classroom or outside on our interactive playgrounds (which undergo regular safety inspections), little ones are always honing their fine and gross motor skills, as well as their problem-solving skills; and most of all, they’re having fun! Planting the Seeds of Knowledge
At Tutor Time of Smithtown’s Child Care and Learning Center, we focus on providing children ample with opportunities to explore, learn, and grow. Our School Readiness Pathway curriculum is implemented with every age group, including infants, toddlers, preschools, and pre-kindergarten-aged children. This program is specifically designed to meet the needs of all children through developmentally appropriate activities. Early mathematics and literacy, color recognition, and scientific investigations are just some of the skills that your child will begin to develop in our program. We aim to plant the seeds of knowledge and provide children with the foundations of education that they can utilize throughout their academic careers. Reading, writing, sorting, counting, painting, explorations, and imaginative play are all a part of the daily routine. By taking a hands-on, open-ended approach to teaching, our aim is to instill a lifetime love of learning in each and every child.
Our staff of highly trained child care professionals are deeply committed to providing children and their families with compassionate care. Every member of our team has years of experience in the child care and education sectors, with credentials that include post-secondary degrees in Child Development and Early Childhood Education. All of our employees attend training and certification courses and seminars before they start working with us, and continue to attend courses and seminars on a regular basis so that they can stay current with the latest standards of learning.
